Welcome to Omega Verksted, a maker-/hackerspace fueled by student-driven innovation and creativity. Located in the heart of NTNU's old electrical department building at Gløshaugen in Trondheim Norway, Omega Verksted is a hub for students of all backgrounds to learn, experiment, and collaborate on electronics, computer science, and general maker projects.
At Omega Verksted, we provide students with access to a variety of tools and equipment, including 3D-printers, laser cutter, soldering equipment, sewing/embroidering machines, hand tools, and tools for woodworking and metalworking. Our space is designed to facilitate hands-on learning, and we believe that the best way to learn is by doing.
As a student-led maker-/hackerspace, Omega Verksted offers a unique environment for collaboration and innovation. Our community is passionate about exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just starting out, you'll find a welcoming and supportive community at Omega Verksted.
So if you're a student looking to dive into the world of making, come join us at Omega Verksted. Let's create something amazing together! Omega Verksted is an independent, non-profit volunteer organization. OV membership is open to all students.
For more information about the group of volunteers running the workshop and how to join that, see OV-Styret.
